Free, family-friendly evening of live music at Capitol Modern. The galleries and our Sculpture Garden will be open. Come visit and enjoy performances in the garden. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

Friday Night Tempo in March features performances with Subtonic Orchestra, including:

And starting in March, Hawaii's favorite urban market, "Art+Flea" will be part of our Capitol Modern evening events! Featuring 20+ local artists, artisans, and food vendors! The event will begin at 5:00pm with the market, and performances beginning at 6:00pm.

DeShannon Higa
DeShannon Higa is a multi-talented performer, composer, and arranger. His professional experience spans over 30 years, and he has performed locally and globally with many renowned artists. He currently leads several bands of his own creation including Subtonic Orchestra and Quadpod. He is also the official musical composer and arranger for the world renowned Royal Hawaiian Band (est. 1836).
